Support CDC children and the Robin McManus Benefit

Join us Saturday, Apr. 20, as we celebrate one of Kent State’s greatest educational resources. Proceeds from this annual event go towards the Robin McManus Scholarship, which supports the ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Child Development Center (CDC) by providing tuition assistance so more children in our community can access the enriching experience of a CDC education. The event will include heavy appetizers, drinks and a cash raffle.

The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE)

The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) is a 2.5-hour simulation that explores the lived experience of poverty firsthand through the eyes of real families. The experiential nature of this training helps ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø staff and faculty more deeply understand the human and systemic impacts of poverty. Additionally, this event will provide space to discuss ways in which individuals and offices can collaborate in order to best support students facing basic need barriers.
