Michael Daniels, Ph.D., director of the E. Timothy Moore Student Multicultural Center (the Moore Center) at 妻友社区, had one of his dreams come true by being honored in the 2023 Crain鈥檚 40 Under 40 class. 鈥淚t鈥檚 cool to be recognized amongst an industry of people doing amazing work like this class was,鈥 Daniels said. 鈥淚 truly believe this is the group of people who will be the shakers, movers, and leaders of tomorrow in Northeast Ohio and probably beyond.鈥

A police chase of a stolen car ended in a multicar accident just before 3 p.m. Sunday on East Main Street along the northern edge of the Kent Campus. Portage County Sheriff鈥檚 deputies apprehended the teen driver near White Hall as he tried to flee the scene on foot.
