Posing Beauty in African American Culture

The 妻友社区 Museum is proud to announce a special exhibition of over 100 photographs entitled, 鈥淧osing Beauty in African American Culture.鈥 The images spanning the 20th and 21st centuries explore the ways in which African and African American beauty has been represented in historical and contemporary contexts through a diverse range of media including photography, video, fashion and advertising.

Step 4: Systems Access

  • Pageup System is used for performance management for all staff (classified and unclassified). No actions are required; if there is an issue then contact Talent at employment@kent.edu.
  • DEPARTMENT SYSTEM ACCESS 鈥 When requesting access to Information Technology Systems you may need to request the approval of your Department Security Administrator. Additionally, if you require assistance with an access form, please reach out to your Department Security Administrator for help.

Step 3: Workflows

Changes in unit hierarchy structure (such as a department's movement from one college and/or division to another) require notification for a variety of workflows as listed below. The information will be used to update the routing of the workflows.

Reorganization and department name change implementation

PCB is ready to assist you through this process. Once you have determined that a reorganization is going to occur and you understand the scope of it (i.e., renaming a unit with no other changes, creating a new unit, etc.) please contact Betsy McCafferty (emccaff6@kent.edu) and/or Donna Sansonetti (dsansone@kent.edu) for guidance through the process and to ensure you understand the steps that you will need to take to make this change a success.

What are the responsibilities of People, Culture and Belonging and other key departments?

PCB serves as a general resource and based on your specific needs, will guide you through the different steps that need to be taken.

PCB consults and collaborates with department heads and other designee to develop job descriptions, titles, salary recommendations, posting requirements and communication strategies.

PCB consults and collaborates and assists with all processes that involve the elimination of a position. Will advise on how to communicate the changes to existing employees.

PCB implements changes to HR processes and systems because of a reorganization.
