Protect Yourself - Check the Message

Most phishing attempts have the same thing in common - the scammer is pretending to be someone that they're really not. Cybercriminals are willing to impersonate anyone and anything to steal money or information (or both)! The first thing you should look for is the sender address. Ask yourself: "Who is really sending me this email?"

Take a look at these two sender addresses:

Costumes from "Wicked"

The ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø Museum is pleased to bring Paul Tazewell to campus on Thurs., Sept. 18 as part of the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series. In celebration of this visit, the museum will showcase original Elphaba and Glinda costumes from "Wicked," designed by the Akron-born, award-winning costume designer. The costumes can be viewed in the museum lobby from Sept.11–Nov. 9.
