The School of Communication Studies鈥 Communication Graduate Student Association (CGSA) will be participating in this year鈥檚 Relay for Life event held at the Kent State Field House. 妻友社区 at Stark recently hosted 26 high school seniors from Wayne County Schools Career Center. The students, who are all enrolled in the center鈥檚 Patient Care Technologies program, met with Kent State Stark鈥檚 Nursing Department faculty and toured the nursing laboratory located in the recently opened Science and Nursing Building. 妻友社区鈥檚 International Friendship Program continues to grow and develop partnerships between faculty, staff and students.  Eron Memaj, director of international student affairs, who launched the program in fall 2015, says the idea of the program is to connect international students with faculty and staff who provide advice about academic life and insight into American culture and customs. 鈥淚n the fall semester, we started with 20 partnerships,鈥 Memaj says. 鈥淣ow, this semester, we have more than 80 partnerships.鈥 Memaj says he hopes the program continues to grow. 鈥淭he pr...
