  “Men On Boats” is described as “a true(ish) comedic feminist retelling of  John Wesley Powell’s death-defying adventure down the Grand and Colorado Rivers with nine amateur explorers in 1869.”  The play is presented by students in Kent State’s School of Theatre and Dance. Ese Okonigbo, who is a Senior at �������� majoring in Fashion Design, participated in a four-week long academic exchange program during the summer. Under the team name “Sole Mates”, Beverly Reed, Tuyet Pham, Aaron Allen, Jiafeng Jin and Daisy Arokiasamy competed with the University of Akron and other �������� staff and faculty to see which team could convert the longest period of activity into the most points.
