The Division of People, Culture and Belonging is excited to announce the launch of its Outreach Initiative, set to commence on Nov. 1, 2024. A group of 21 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at 妻友社区 as part of a Fulbright professional development program for foreign educators.  The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program鈥痠s sponsored by the United States Department of State, funded by the U.S. government, and administered by IREX and Kent State. Kellie Rose Kordinak is in an elite group of American college students. The senior from the Kent State Stark Campus was recently named a 2024 Portz Scholar by the National Collegiate Honors Council 鈥 one of only four students from across the country.Kordinak is majoring in history and applied communication studies, taking classes at the Stark and Kent campuses.
