Dress up for Downs 2024 Fashion Event

IN A FLASH: Dressing up for Downs

Dress Up for Downs, a Kent State student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by Kent State fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.

Two teams prepare to face-off at Kent State Golden Flash Legal Class competition

Mock Trial Teams Host 10-Team Intercollegiate Regional Tournament

On January 20, 妻友社区 welcomed over 120 college students from across the region to its 鈥淕olden Flash Legal Clash,鈥 a two-day collegiate mock trial invitational held in the Kent Student Center. Proceeds from the event helped to raise funds for future events that Kent State鈥檚 Mock Trial teams plan to attend. The 10 student teams, including some from out-of-state, competed in four rounds. Teams from Case Western Reserve University finished first and second with third place going to a team from William & Mary. The opening and closing ceremonies were held in the Kent State Governance Chambers.
