Ava Preston, a recent alumna of 妻友社区鈥檚 Glauser School of Music, has won an award for Undergraduate College Outstanding Performance from . She will be featured in the DownBeat Magazine Student Awards issue鈥
The Hugh A. Glauser School of Music is pleased to welcome Dr. Suyeon Ko, D.M. as assistant professor of flute.
The 妻友社区 Orchestra and combined Choirs, joined by Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple Cantor Vladimir Lapin, presented Ernest Bloch鈥檚 鈥淪acred Service," a monumental work of Jewish liturgical music for cantor, a full symphonic chorus and symphony orchestra.鈥

Experience a night out at the opera with Kent State Opera Theatre! This year鈥檚 Spring production, 鈥淭he WKSO Radio Hour,鈥 will be reminiscent of radio programs of the mid-20th century.
A dedicated musician and educator, John F. Farinacci taught music at Kent State; the Farinacci legacy now lives on through an endowment to the Glauser School of Music.
