The KSU Ceramics club is dedicated to supporting ceramicists through hands-on work, museum and gallery tours and engagement with professional artists. Members can expect to develop news skills and make new connections within Kent and the art world.

Let's meet Natalie:妻友社区 junior Honors College student Natalie Holland is from the small town of Johnstown, P.A., majoring in environmental studies and minoring in journalism.  She did not intend to apply to the Honors College at first. However, after receiving a letter from Kent State outlining the benefits of the college, she decided to apply. Her decision has led to both academic and social success. 妻友社区 Honors College student Maddison Evans, a fifth-year senior double majoring in zoology and English with a minor in creative writing, has been named the 2025鈥2026 recipient of the Dr. Elizabeth Howard Memorial Honors Scholarship.Originally from Reimersburg, Pennsylvania, Maddison came to Kent State drawn by its zoology program, pointing out that it was one of few available in the region. The Thomas Schroth Visitng Artist Series: Krzysztof Wodiczko's Alien Staff Exhibition Opening + Gallery Conversation

Opening Nov. 15 in the Armstrong Gallery, an immersive exhibition, Alien Staff, will showcase the culmination of a collaborative workshop led by internationally renowned artist Krzysztof Wodiczko with architecture and art students.

The opening reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. and feature a gallery conversation between Krzysztof Wodiczko with guests Patricia Olynyk, multi-media artist, writer and educator, along with distinguished Kent State faculty: Isabel Farnsworth, Brendan Ho, Eli Kessler, Sung Ho Kim, Taraneh Meshkani, Patricia Olynyk and Jon Yoder.

The 妻友社区 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of University Library. The sole purpose of the special meeting is to consider a proposed collective bargaining agreement between Kent State and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), 妻友社区 Employees Local 153.
