The School of Media and Journalism at 妻友社区 is saddened at the unexpected death of our alumnus, adjunct instructor and friend Bobby Makar. Bobby was a graduate of our B.S. and M.A. programs in Digital Media Production (DMP). The Dual-enrollment Program American Academy Celebrates its First Commencement

A true milestone in the concept of international education, the American Academy celebrated its first Commencement in Curitiba, Paran谩, Brazil, on Sept. 25. The American Academy is a dual-enrollment program jointly operated by 妻友社区 and the Pontifical Catholic University of Paran谩 (PUCPR). The program鈥檚 curriculum follows a liberal arts education model, which is a new concept in Brazilian higher education.
