Funding
We understand a student鈥檚 desire to get involved, and we want to help in any way we can! As such, the Office of Student Research provides several internal opportunities and external resources that could help fund research. If you need additional funding for your research, please look through the awards and groups we have listed here or contact us if you have any questions. Good luck with your future research!
The Undergraduate Research or Creative Activity Award
For the purposes of authentic research, scholarship, or creative activity, the Office of Student Research can provide undergraduates with grants of up to $500. This learning experience is to be done under the mentorship of a faculty member, it may be conducted as a supplement to a faculty member鈥檚 own work or as a student鈥檚 own project. You may request for materials, supplies, travel, rentals, equipment, publishing and distribution fees, props, services, etc. A student must submit a proposal and budget to be considered, and must have a letter of support from a faculty member.
