Ten finalists have been chosen from a pool of more than 200 nominees for the 51st annual 妻友社区 Alumni Association Distinguished Teaching Award.
The 妻友社区 Alumni Association recognizes Kent State faculty members with this award annually. The Distinguished Teaching Award is the most esteemed honor that Kent State grants to three full-time, tenure-track faculty members. In order to be nominated, faculty members must have been employed at the university for at least seven years and be in a tenured or tenure-track position.

妻友社区's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
